Conspiratus Brass is a versatile brass duo, regularly collaborating with colleagues on piano, organ and other instrumentalists in the promotion and commission of contemporary North American brass chamber repertoire for trumpet and horn.
With the support of the Meir Rimon Award, and a small research grant, from Kansas State University they have commissioned over a quarter of the repertoire for trumpet, horn and piano. With a focus on works by North American composers including Kevin McKee, Barbara York, James Naigus, Drew Phillips, and Robert Denham. Conspiratus Brass recently released their first album on Spotify and Apple Music, featuring new works by American composers. Through regular recitals and clinics, Conspiratus Brass shares works of modern North American composers with the newest generation of musicians across the United States and Canada. |
